Emily Edmunds, the new Sustainability Campaign Educator (also known as an energy advisor) for Cornell Cooperative Extension in Cattaraugus County as well as Allegany and Chautauqua county will be in-library to answer questions. The program helps residents of low to moderate income, disadvantaged communities, and small minority and women owned businesses find out information of the services offered and what finances can help improve their household. Information or assistance to free or reduced cost energy assessments, installation services, low-cost financing, and solar. Some programs are income eligibility based and work with people who are on SNAP, HEAP, or SSI. Come learn more about the programs and the financial incentives that are offered.
