Orientation/Career Planning Workshop
Orientation and Career Planning Workshop provides an overview of the job search and career development resources and services offered through the One Stop and an introduction to the Resource Area. This workshop also provides information on a variety of career research tools, steps necessary for achieving specific goals, formulating training plans and discovering financial aid resources.
Starting the Job Search
Starting the Job Search workshop is geared toward setting work preferences, identifying transferable skills, compiling your work history, and managing stress.
Finding Your Next Job
This workshop is to provide information on networking for job leads, making direct employer contacts, researching employers, and completing applications successfully.
Resumes and Cover Letters
This workshop assists in selecting the resume best suited for you, targeting your skills, completing a cover letter, and critiquing a current resume.
Effective Interviewing
This workshop consists of preparing yourself for an interview,
provides sample interview techniques, Thank You and follow-up letters and closing interviews.
TABE Testing
