Goals	Accomplishments
Working to Promote and Assist the Library.	An Excellent Library is Essential to a Community.
• To promote literary and educational activities with the Library	• Established the Book Endowment Fund
• To increase, improve and publicize the resources and services of the Library	• Support and co-sponsor programs and events
• To help enlarge public support of the Library	• Provide a publicity budget for Library events
• To solicit endowments and bequests to benefit the Library	• Provided volunteer staff
• To maintain and increases the Book Endowment Fund	• Contribute to summer reading programs
	• Sponsor annual bookmark and poetry contests aimed at drawing our school children into the library

Absentee Ballots

Applications to receive an absentee ballot for the May 18, 2021 Olean Public Library trustee election and budget vote are available at the Olean School District Clerk’s office, 410 West Sullivan Street, during normal school hours. The Olean City School District Office of the Clerk can be reached at 716-375-8018. Completed applications must be received by the District Clerk at least seven (7) days before the election if the ballot is to be mailed to the voter, or the day before the election, if the ballot is to be delivered personally to the voter.

Olean Public Library Trustee Election & Budget Vote

May 18, 2021

The library will be on the Olean City School District ballot and voting will take place at the Olean Intermediate Middle School, 401 Wayne St.

Nominating Petitions for Olean Public Library Trustees are available at the Information Desk of the Olean Public Library
