Story Times for all ages are offered regularly throughout the year. Story Times provide a variety of language and early literacy experiences for parents and children. Download Story Time Helps (pdf).

Story Time for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children will be finished on May 2 and take a break for the months of May and June.  During the end of the school year, our children’s librarian receive many visits from elementary schools and Head Starts. Preschool programs will resume the week of July 8.

Mother Goose Story Time

Wednesdays at 10am

A program for infants and toddlers up to 18 months that includes stories, nursery rhymes, songs, language games and play. Each child must be accompanied by an adult. Adults are encouraged to help the child participate in the activities at a developmentally appropriate level. Parents and children can spend time socializing before or after the program.

Stories and crafts for children 19 months to 3 years of age and their caregiver.

Stories and Stretches

Thursdays at 10am

Stretch your body and mind with this story time which includes movement and stretches. Ages 2-5.

Investigation Stations – Ages 3-5

Mondays at 6:30pm or

Wednesdays at 3:30pm

Children and parents participate in group activities, including stories, music, and games followed by hands-on activities at the stations.

The Investigation Stations are open for use by parents and children during regular library hours. Registration is required for activity groups due to limited space.
