  • Orientation/Career Planning Workshop

    Orientation and Career Planning Workshop provides an overview of the job search and career development resources and services offered through the One Stop and an introduction to the Resource Area. This workshop also provides information on a variety of career research tools, steps necessary for achieving specific goals, formulating training plans and discovering financial aid resources.

  • Starting the Job Search/Effective Interviewing

    Starting the Job Search workshop is geared toward setting work preferences, identifying transferrable skills, compiling your work history, and managing stress. You will also prepare for an interview with sample interview techniques.

  • Building a Basic Resume Workshop

    Building a Basic Resume Workshop is geared toward helping people who don't have a resume or need some help improving their current one.

  • Very Basic Computer Class

    Very Basic Computer Class for adults aged 54 or under covers Microsoft Windows and Word. Class size is limited. Call 716 373 1880 to register. For those over 55 who are interested in this class, contact Pat at 716 373 1880 ext. 266.

  • Using the Internet for Job Searching

    Using the Internet for Job Searching workshop is a review of how to use the Internet to improve your job search.

  • Interview Assistance Workshop

    Haven't been to an interview in a while? Need a little help understanding what employers are looking for? In this workshop we will review commonly asked questions in interviews, why your answers are so important, what is appropriate to wear and what to do after the interview. Come prepared to be interviewed.

  • Resume Critique Advice

    Think your resume is ready for employers? Put it to the test. This workshop is for those who already have a resume and would like some constructive criticism. Get advice on how to improve it, and some refreshers on its purpose. Please bring a copy of your most up to date resume.

  • TABE testing

    For a basic skills assessment to establish reading and math levels call 716 373 1880 ext. 230 for an appointment.
