- The list can expedite your search for an obituary published in the newspaper.
- Olean newspapers are available on microfilm dating back to he late 1800s.
- Microfilm readers are available for public use in the library. You are welcome to come to the library to find an obituary on microfilm. Or you may make a research request and have the information sent to you. Read our Research Request Policy for more information.
- The Obituary Database is an on-going project. Current listings include the 1980s and 1990s.
