Due to the constantly changing nature of the Internet, the Library cannot guarantee the quality, accuracy or currency of information found. We cannot control these access points, which often change rapidly and unpredictably.
The Olean Public Library uses a filter to monitor activity as required by the Children’s Internet Protection Act (CIPA) [Pub. L. No. 106-554 and 47 USC 254(h)] on all computers with Internet access. Filters can be disabled upon request for adults—age 17 or older—for bona fide research or other lawful purposes only. Library staff will unblock erroneously blocked web sites upon request by minors.
Public Access Computers connect to a network color laser printer located at the Information Desk. Printing is self-service from the Print Release Station located next to the printer.Printing fees:
- 15¢ for each black & white page
- 75¢ for each color page
