Mother Goose Time
Tuesdays, Apr. 29 - May 20 @ 10:00 AM

An infant and toddler program for ages 6 months to 2 years. The program includes interactive books and simple stories, nursery rhymes, songs, language games, play and simple art activities. Each week a simple &sdquo;Baby Sign” will be introduced to help parents communicate with their children. Each child must be accompanied by a participating adult. Adults are encouraged to help the child participate in the activities at a developmentally appropriate level child. Parents and children can spend time socializing before or after the program and select items to borrow from our large collection of children’s and adult materials. Register.

Toddler Time
Wednesdays, Apr. 30 - May 21 @ 10:00 AM

Toddlers Time is for children age 2 to 3 years. With an adult, children listen to stories, learn songs, rhymes, finger plays, and participate in group play and creative art projects. Spend some time before or after the program socializing with other parents and toddlers and selecting items to borrow from our large collection of children’s and adult materials. Register.

Slumber Time for Babies and Toddlers
Wednesdays, Apr. 30 - May 21 @ 6:00 PM

An evening bedtime program for children ages 6 months to 3 years and their parents. This program includes quiet stories, songs, language games, an introduction the Baby Sign and creative activities. Children and adults participate in a shortened, less active version of our daytime baby and toddler programs. Register.

Big Kids, Books and More
Thursdays, May 1 - May 22 @ 3:30 PM

A program of after school fun for kids in Kindergarten through 2nd grade. Listen to and read great stories with the group and on your own. Participate in related activities, games, science experiments, puzzles and crafts! Children and their parents are encouraged to make use of the Investigation Stations as part of their library visit. Books, materials and activities are also available for families to use at home. Register.

Investigation Station Activity Groups are free, but all children must be registered because space is limited. Please choose ONE activity group that best fits your schedule. All groups participate in similar activities.

Investigation Stations Activity Groups
Mondays, Apr. 28 - May 19 @ 6:30 PM
Thursdays, May 1 - May 22 @ 10:00 AM

Three, four and five year olds participate in directed group activities, including stories, music, and games followed by assisted free exploration and play at the stations. Parents participate with their children to expand on the experiences and connections presented at the stations. Books, materials and activities are also available for families to use at home. The Investigation Stations are also open for use by parents and children during regularly library hours. Registration is required to participate in the activity groups because of limited space. New to the Investigation stations is a kids only computer terminal with interactive age appropriate software. Register.
