The Olean Public Library Gallery has provided an exhibition venue for New York State artists since 1974, giving artists exposure and exhibiting experience and providing Greater Olean Area residents and visitors the opportunity to enjoy the work of contemporary visual artists.This Month in the Gallery:
Gallery Exhibit: April 2024
Jim Cook – Nature Photography
April brings to the Gallery a new artist: Jim Cook, a resident of McKean County in neighboring Pennsylvania, will be exhibiting his nature photography. With an eye for finding the beauty in nature, Cook has been seeking stunning nature shots for the past 20 years throughout Cattaraugus County here in New York as well as McKean, Potter, and Warren counties in Pennsylvania.
A reception will be held Monday, April 1st in the Art Gallery from 6:30-7:30 pm. Light refreshments will be served, and all are welcome to attend.

Please remember: artwork must be appropriate for a general library audience (i.e.: suitable if children see), and you must be able to fill the entire gallery with your pieces. Any 2D medium is welcome!
